Empowaa hosts both online and offline services. Online services refers to any information and services provided over the internet such as digital marketing, etc. Then offline services are services that are limited to a geographical location. An electrician or a plumber, for example, has to travel to visit their customers' homes in person, rather than offering online services.

Communication

Make sure you communicate using the platform, please refrain from using your personal email account for petentional malware or viruses. Things to consider before meeting is to oversee if communication was professional and polite, if they did ask overly personal questions?

Research

Conduct a research about the buyer/sellers bio. Search online for them online if they have online presence, such as social media platforms, also check of they have their profile picture.

Meeting information

For safety reasons you can share the meeting info, you can tell a trusted person about the meeting address and start/end times, and arrange your own transportation.

Geolocation

Before meeting learn the place, or before going to where the service would be delivered you caxn meet on a public place. If you are unfamiliar with the meeting location search for info about the neighborhood. If you are meeting in a private address, ask about pets such as large dogs, ask if there would be any disturbance when delivering the service such as children.

Arrival

When you arrive at the meeting location, you can also choose to leave and not deliver a service if you are uncomfortable about the meeting location or conditions, or if you are uncomfortable with the conversation or if you think the buyer/seller is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Payments

We highly recommend that payments should be complited or made online, to avoid not getting paid by the participant after delivering a particular service. If a participant fails on their end to make payments after you have delivered services, please report this immediately or contact customer support here.

How do i reserve a service?

To reserve a service, you have to request it first. Services can be requested and put details with the time, date and location of where the service will take place

How to change the location where the service takes place?

After requesting a service, you will receive the seller's contact details. For date, time and location confirmation, including any changes please contact the seller in time.

How to tip the person providing the service?

When your seller does a good job at providing a service, you are allowed to tip the seller in cash. Its a buyer's choice not an obligation.

How to order a service?

Requesting a service with Empowaa is simple. Choose the service you need, put the location, date and time, fill in your payment details. Make sure time, date and location are accurate, for any changes, contact the seller in time.

Ordering a service for my child?

Children and teenagers under 18 years of age can’t order a service alone without an adult. Sellers are allowed to reject a service requested for a child or by a person under 18 (unless they are children services such as babysitting).

Giving a service a feedback/providing a rating.

After a seller delivers a services, you can rate the level of service you have received.
